about
Just to get it out there, this is just a concept of a track. A little play around. Nothing more.
Anyway, the concept:
There are two sides to this track. There is the side of chaos and the side of fluidity. On the latter side, the parts work together. I'm used to that part. I'm with that kind music all day every day. I'm not saying that there isn't anything wrong with it. There are probably plenty of mistakes and harmonic/ rhythmic ideas that don't work. It grooves (to an extent), it has a key and the instruments work together to make the ideas work. Now, even though the other side is chaotic, I'm not saying it doesn't work. I just don't understand it enough to work with it. In its own way, it doesn't sound too bad. However, you can't gage a key and it just doesn't groove. Total polar opposite to the motif it is up against. They clash against each other when put side to side, but when they start working together, they sound better yes, but one starts corrupting the other. Is this an analogy for something else? Yes, most definitely. Even with that taken into account, I still can't find a way for these two parts to move forward together and make each other flourish into a harmonious future.
Designed to accompany a novella of the same name, this 26-track opus works just as well as a moody synthwave album on its own. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 12, 2022
